How to apply - CUT full time studies

Currently our educational offer encompasses 2 fields of study run in English at Bachelor ( or Engineering ) level and 5 fields of study run in English at Master level.

RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE for NON-EU CITIZENS

We understand that studying in a foreign country might be a difficult experience for you. That is why we try to make all necessary admission procedures as simple as possible.

However, there are a few requirements you must fulfil.

The information you provide us with is a crucial element of the admission process, so make sure you read instructions carefully and complete all sections of the form.

Otherwise, we will not be able to process your application.

Please find a list of required documents below:

 

DOCUMENTS required for 1st cycle degree:

  • scan of the application form ( please see attachment 1 - APPLICATION FORM )
  • scan of the secondary school leaving certificate with legalization or apostille. All documents need to be translated into Polish by a Sworn Translator entered into the Record of Sworn Translators maintained by the Polish Minister of Justice or by the Consul of the Republic of Poland having jurisdiction over the area in question. The certificate should also include information that it gives one right to study in higher education institutions in the country where it was issued.

ATTENTION!!! If the above mentioned education documents have no information regarding their holder's entitlements to apply for admission to degree programmes at universities of any kind in the country within which education system the institution issuing the certificate operates  such annotation should be submitted as separate document. These documents can be issued by te education authorities of the country, within which education system the certificate or diploma have been issued, or the secondary school itself.

  • scan of official transcript of records with scale of grades included, confirmed by the Schoolscan of the official certificate confirming your command of English (please see attachment 2 ). Documents confirming knowledge of English may also include certificates, diplomas or other documents confirming graduation from a post-primary school abroad, where the classes were held in English
  • scan of the passport page with your photo and personal data,

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY OTHER DOCUMENTS – ONLY THOSE FROM THE LIST ABOVE.

These documents can be issued by education authorities of the country, within which education system the certificate or diploma have been issued, or the institution issuing the diploma,
  • scan of official transcript of records with scale of grades included, confirmed by the the institution issuing the diploma
  • scan of the official certificate confirming your command of English (please see attachment 2 ). Documents confirming knowledge of English may also include certificates, diplomas or other documents confirming graduation from a post-primary school abroad, where the classes were held in English
  • scan of the passport page with your photo and personal data,

The University’s International Students Office provisionally evaluates whether the originals of the documents entitles the Applicant to be enrolled at CUT and:

  1. if NOT – sends negative answer via email to the student
  2. if YES – sends to the student information  that may be admitted at CUT  and pay in the tuition fee + non refundable 85 PLN application fee payment.
    Once the we have the proof of payment we send the statement - provisional letter of acceptance ( necessary to apply for the student visa).

PLEASE DO NOT PAY ANY TUITION FEE UNTIL YOU  RECEIVE THE INFORMATION TO DO SO!!!

The STATEMENTTHE PROVISIONAL LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE  confirms that the student already paid in the tuition and he/she will be admitted at CUT as soon as he/she will deliver us the documents (in originals) as follows:

  • the passport with valid visa, temporary stay permit card or another document permitting you to stay in Poland,
  • four passport-sized photos (with the name put at the back side),
  • Insurance Policy covering the period of the first year of studies at CUT,
  • Medical certificate
  • confirmation of payment ( tuition fee for 1st year of studies + additional non-refundable 200 EUR recruitment fee).

Please note that the field of study/specialization will be opened provided a certain number of candidates is accepted!!! 

Additional information:

  1. The current  tuition fee for the academic year 2017/2018  is 1920 EUR per year + additional non-refundable 85 PLN recruitment fee.

  2. Accommodation - CUT guarantees accommodation in one of our three dormitories at a cost of about:
         Singe room: 90-125 EUR per month
         Double room: 70-80 EUR per month / per person
         Due to the room standard and current EUR exchange rate.
  3. CUT International Students Office offers full support for foreign students during their stay in Poland regarding accommodation, insurance, money and banks etc.
  4. Average costs of living including public transport, accommodation in dormitory, food and some entertainment is approximately 250-300 EUR per month.
